        Short version: We do not store your family safe word. We do not sell your data. We only collect what we need to schedule and deliver your KinProof session. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
      

1. Who we are

KinProof ("we," "us," "our") is a family scam protection service operated by KinProof. We help families protect older loved ones from AI voice scams, fake bank calls, and other fraud through guided setup sessions.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

Name and email address — when you fill out the risk check form or contact us
Phone number — only if you provide it for scheduling purposes
Session preferences — information about your family's phone setup and concerns
Payment information — processed securely through Square. We do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use your information

Schedule and deliver your KinProof family setup session
Send you the prep checklist and session details
Provide your personalized family scam protection plan
Respond to your questions and inquiries
Improve our website and service based on aggregated, anonymous usage data

4. What we do NOT do

We do not store your family safe word
We do not create or store voice clones of you or your family members
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing
We do not ask for bank passwords or financial account credentials
We do not use fake testimonials or fabricated social proof

5. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, time on site, general location). This data is anonymous and aggregated. You can decline non-essential cookies through our cookie consent banner.

We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking for ad targeting.

6. Third-party services

We use the following trusted service providers:

Square — secure payment processing (squareup.com/legal/privacy)
Google Calendar — appointment scheduling
GitHub Pages — website hosting

Each provider has their own privacy policy and is responsible for protecting data they process on our behalf.

7. Data retention

We retain your information only as long as needed to deliver our service and respond to inquiries. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.
