        Important disclaimer: KinProof provides education and guidance to help families reduce scam risk. We cannot guarantee that your loved ones will not be scammed. No security measure is foolproof.
      

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the KinProof website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Service description

KinProof provides family scam protection education and guided setup sessions. Our services include:

Family scam risk assessment
Guided Zoom sessions to create family safe-word and callback plans
Phone security guidance and spam-filter setup
Printable family protection plans
Privacy and data protection guidance

3. What we are not

We are not a legal, financial, or law enforcement service
We are not an emergency response service
We are not a cybersecurity firm or guarantee of fraud prevention
We do not provide legal advice or legal representation

If you believe you or a loved one is currently being scammed, contact local law enforcement or call the FBI IC3 at ic3.gov immediately.

4. Booking and payment

All sessions are booked through Google Calendar appointment schedules
Payment is processed securely through Square
Pricing is as listed on our website at time of booking
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of purchase.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time through your Google Calendar booking link. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may not be eligible for a refund.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information during the risk assessment and booking
Attend scheduled sessions on time or provide advance notice
Not use our service for any unlawful purpose
Not record sessions without consent of all participants

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, logos, graphics, and the family protection plan templates — is the property of KinProof. You may share our links and print the family plan for personal use, but you may not redistribute or resell our materials without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KinProof shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your session.

We do not guarantee that following our guidance will prevent all scams. Scammers constantly evolve their methods, and individual behavior is outside our control.

9. Privacy

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your information.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
